This is also about desilting our dams, which Pak was preventing since many years. Jhelum drains into Mangala Dam. We have started it today and now Mangala dam will get fully silted. Should they release the water with silt, their canal systems would get choked. Should they retain the silt, the dam would store so much less water and will feel the heat in the second irrigation necessity, after sowing!

The fireworks are yet to come, on Sutlej! Pak has Marala head works, just off the IB. When Sutlej will will be desilted in a day or two from now, Marala will be fully silted!

A traditional khasi basket (polo) inverted on a “shawla” (or heater nowadays) is how we dried our clothes. The clothes would be laid flat all around the basket, creating a heat pocket. Many clothes were accidentally burnt in the process though since it was difficult to control the heat and temperature to fully dry the clothes, but in my case most of the time it was because we failed to pay close attention to the clothes haha. Dryer machines are getting quite popular year by year tho. No more accidentally burnt clothes.

If you don’t dry clothes properly, they’ll start to smell. The elders in my family used to say that the month of July—usually the rainiest month—is called Naitung (which literally means “smelly month”) for a reason: clothes often end up stinking because they can’t dry properly in the damp weather.

Pakistan khud jaanta hai ki jung feasible nahi hai — Balochistan already unki le raha hai. Yeh sab sirf nautanki hai, upar se unke paas paani bhi nahi hai apni jaan bachane ke liye. Ek theek se attack ho jaaye toh Pakistan chup ho jaata hai — unka PM tak bol chuka hai ki Balochistan raat mein control mein nahi rehta.

Aur yeh samajhne ki baat hai ki Pakistan ki military ne apni janta ko dimaag dhoke se yeh sikha diya hai ki unse pyaar karo, Kashmir Pakistan ka hai, waali baat ke saath. Toh agar unki pitai ho gayi, toh military ki izzat bhi gayi. Yeh sab sirf drama hai, bas nautanki.

What the hell is happening right now.Are we officially on a full blown war right now.Both the media and govt of both countries are trying to control the narrative in international media but they all are laughing at both of us .People are living in fear.These attacks and counterattacks will only further escalate terrorism activities.At the end innocent civilians and soldiers will suffer while the respective country heads will ultimately shake hands and have dinner with each other.I just hope that some sane minds are trying to de escalate the situation rather going on an ego trip.
